My name is Hugh Matney and this summer I am interning for Khaki Weber in Supplier Relations; specifically with Owens & Minor’s private label, MediChoice.  As a Richmond, VA native I was excited for the opportunity to live at home this summer while working for a company with such an outstanding reputation in the Richmond community.  I am currently a rising junior at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC majoring in International Business.  I hope to apply an international flair to some of the work I will be doing this summer, and an opportunity has already arisen to work on a Chinese sourcing project.
 
It has been a great experience to work amongst the rest of the MediChoice team and gain invaluable knowledge of the day to day interactions and workloads of the Category Managers and Analysts.  I have more than enough on my plate this summer to keep me busy for months, including an upcoming sales trip to the Baltimore Distribution Center, so I will certainly have plenty to talk about each week!
