Nurse executives and staff nurses nationwide participated this spring in a survey of their perspectives and satisfaction level with their healthcare supply chain.
Owens & Minor (O&M) teamed up with the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM), the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), and the Marquette University Colleges of Nursing & Business Administration to conduct the national survey.
The 10-minute survey was available online at http://www.marquette.edu/cscm/survey through May 31. O&M also offered paper versions of the survey to attendees at the annual meetings of AORN, AONE and AACN this spring.
Jamie Kowalski, O&M’s managing director, business development, will debut key findings from the survey results at AHRMM's 47th Annual Conference & Exhibition, July 20-21, in Tampa.
In addition, the sponsoring organizations will share survey results in the trade media and at industry conferences later this year to initiate positive dialogue with supply chain leaders and facilitate changes in the supply chain to improve clinician satisfaction.
