Describe a typical work day.
There really isn’t a “typical day” as a General Manager. One of the things that I love about the job, everyday is a new adventure. I have been able to learn so much by being involved in many different aspects of our business. I can truly say that my day “flies by” and I look forward to the different challenges that await me daily!

How do you describe your job to family and friends?
I describe Owens & Minor as a great corporation that treats its teammates with dignity and respect. In my past experience, the focus was more on the results and less on the employees (and their families). I made a great decision in joining the Owens & Minor Team, and look forward to many years of contributing to the team…

Has your perception of Owens & Minor changed at all?
My perception has changed for the better. As I was interviewing, I wondered if all of the things that I was hearing were accurate (too good to be true). With the past 15 months, I have learned that the company is all that I had heard prior to joining. The people (teammates) make the difference!
