Owens & Minor Supports Relief Efforts for Haiti 

• Owens & Minor is donating approximately $150,000 in medical and surgical supplies to a variety of organizations that are supplying relief aid to the people of Haiti.
• Among the donated supplies are a range of medical and surgical products including: gloves, bandages, needles, IV products, and infant care products.
• Owens & Minor is also matching its teammates’ donations to the American Red Cross on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $20,000; this combined donation will be added to the $20,000 that Owens & Minor has already committed to the American Red Cross for Haiti aid.
• Through its existing contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense’s purchasing units, Owens & Minor is supplying various military units with medical and surgical products as these units deploy for Haiti.  Among the units that Owens & Minor supplied and will continue to supply, is the USN Comfort, one of the U.S. Navy’s hospital ships.
