Owens & Minor invites the healthcare community to join us for this continuing education webinar: The Year of Infection Control: A Review of Science, Pandemics, and Preparing for Tomorrow on Friday, December 10 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

This webinar program will review and discuss the overall impacts of the two-year pandemic on healthcare globally, and offer suggestions for preparing for future infectious disease threats across the healthcare continuum of care.

The objectives of the webinar include:

  • Discuss the impacts of the global pandemic on modern healthcare globally
  • Review the effects of evolving evidence-based practice on healthcare delivery across the continuum of care
  • Discuss the needed preparations for future pandemic preparedness

Presenter: Dr. Hudson Garrett Jr. PhD, MSN, MPH, FNP-BC, IP-BC, CPPS, CFER, FNAP

The President and CEO of Community Health Associates, LLC, Dr. Hudson Garrett has a faculty appointment as an adjunct assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is a frequent international lecturer in the areas of infectious diseases, healthcare-associated infections, and infection prevention and control. He is board-certified in Patient Safety and Infection Prevention and Control. Dr. Garrett is also a member of OSAP/DANB Infection Control Certificate and Certification Steering Commission (ICCCSC).
