This webinar program will review the important caveats associated with the recent FDA Emergency Use Authorization Process for COVID-19 vaccines and the healthcare professionals’ role in interpreting vaccine safety and efficacy information regarding vaccines. The webinar will also discuss how to address frequently asked questions about COVID-19 vaccinations based on current data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and ongoing vaccine clinical trials. He is a frequent international lecturer in the areas of infectious diseases, healthcare-associated infections, and infection prevention and control.
