Greg Sagstetter is an executive vice president (EVP) and the general counsel for Owens & Minor, serving as lead legal strategist for Owens & Minor’s global business operations in addition to overseeing the company’s quality and regulatory (QARA), compliance, and environmental, sustainability, and governance (ESG) teams.

Greg brings deep expertise across a full spectrum of legal disciplines, including commercial transactions, litigation, internal investigations, corporate governance, M&A, IP, and regulatory compliance that enable innovation, responsible growth, and value creation for Owens & Minor.

Greg joined Owens & Minor in 2015, and has held senior roles, including SVP and deputy general counsel before assuming an executive role in January 2026. Prior to Owens & Minor, Greg worked as a commercial litigation associate at Reed Smith, LLP, a prestigious global top 40 law firm. He also held a clerkship for Virginia’s Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, the largest trial court in Virginia.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Bachelor of Political Science from Virginia Tech and a juris doctor from the University of Virginia.
