WEB CONTENT ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
At Owens & Minor, we’re committed to accessibility, diversity, and inclusion. Whether you’re using assistive technologies like a screen reader, a magnifier, voice recognition software, or switch technology, our goal is to continually improve your user experience. We are always working to enhance our website and other digital content in order to support and improve the accessibility of our digital assets. We strive to ensure that everyone, including people with disabilities, has full and equal access to our digital offerings.
To optimize the digital experience for all of our customers and clients, Owens & Minor looks to accessibility best practices recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in its Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We work to maintain our websites and other digital assets in substantial conformance with the WCAG guidelines to make content more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including accommodations for blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, learning disabilities, and cognitive limitations.
www.owens-minor.com and other websites owned by Owens & Minor are compatible with most major Internet browsers including Chrome, FireFox, and Safari. www.owens-minor.com may not perform well on Internet Explorer and older browser versions. For the best experience, Owens & Minor recommends that you keep your technology up to date with the latest version of your web browser, latest version of your assistive technology software/hardware, and smartphone applications that utilize built-in accessibility features on Android and iOS.
Owens & Minor is committed to providing its customers and clients with publicly available information in an accessible way; however, we understand that from time to time there may still be accessibility needs that are not met. To inquire for more help, contact the Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy team and at [email protected].
TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION
Our team consists of professionals who are dedicated to optimizing all our online experiences through periodic testing and evaluation. Owens & Minor will audit our websites periodically either internally or utilizing a third-party. We will provide training and communication to teammates responsible for internet content. This will include periodic communication, policy overview, and ways to improve our processes around internet accessibility.
If you have any questions or you would like to discuss our accessibility requirements in more detail, please email [email protected]. If you need to report an issue anonymously, you can report online or through our Ethics Hotline phone number. Instructions are available at www.OMICodeofhonor.com.
