- Paid time off for Guard and Reserve duty on top of vacation and sick leave.
- Veteran Resources Group- attracts and develops those who have served in the Armed Forces.
- We offer support during military leaves: (1) 100% base pay for the first 2 weeks (regardless of miliary pay) and (2) after the 2 weeks, there's salary differential if the military pay is less than the O&M pay. The pay is for up to 26 weeks, including the first 2 weeks paid at 100%.

Teammate & Community Engagement Leader
Summer Internships & Year-Round Co-op Programs
Owens & Minor offers a 12-week summer internship opportunity to rising juniors and seniors based at our corporate headquarters in Mechanicsville, VA. Selected participants will gain hands-on experience working on impactful projects that will add value to the company and contribute to your own professional and personal development. Interns will work directly with managers, mentors, and cross-functional teams at our Global Fortune 300 organization. Upon successful completion of the program, rising seniors may be considered for full-time employment with Owens & Minor. Intern programs launch in the spring of each year. Rising juniors and seniors who are interested in preparing for a career in the Healthcare industry are encouraged to apply!
Owens & Minor Global Products offers Co-op opportunities within the areas of Product Supply, R&D, and Global Quality on a rolling basis each year at our corporate Alpharetta, GA location, and several of our manufacturing facilities located on the east coast. As a participant of our Co-op program, you will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the supply chain within the Healthcare industry. You’ll participate in organized activities, including completing meaningful projects that will allow you to learn about our industry, processes, and procedures.
During my Co-op program experience, I got to work with mentors who were experts in the field while also having the freedom to innovate and take ownership within my role. I had the amazing opportunity to present my work to a cross-functional leadership team, which helped me further develop my skills. I was excited to accept a full-time role with the Company after I graduated.
