Owens & Minor invites the healthcare community to join us for this continuing education webinar: Making Sense of the Revised COVID-19 Vaccination Recommendations: Boosters, Vaccine Crossover, and New Pediatric Indications for Use on Tuesday, December 14 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

This webinar program will review and discuss the new COVID-19 vaccine recommendations for pediatrics, boosters, and cross-over vaccines for the current FDA-cleared vaccines in the United States. Given new CDC and FDA recommendations, tremendous amounts of confusion exist with healthcare providers due to the ever-changing recommendations. This webinar will dispel common myths, provide a comprehensive overview of the current vaccine recommendations by age and risk category, and also provide an overview of patient communications strategies to address vaccine hesitancy and confidence issues.

The objectives of the webinar include:

  • Review the revised recommendations for COVID-19 booster vaccines
  • Discuss the impact of new Pediatric indications for COVID-19 vaccines and strategies for localized implementation
  • Review the potential long-term impacts of COVID-19 on the broader infection prevention and control program in inpatient and outpatient settings
