New partnership will support HOPE’s clientele of U.S. servicemembers, veterans and military families and provide engagement opportunities for Owens & Minor teammates

The Foundation’s support will help more than a thousand Hope for the Warriors clients, which include active U.S. servicemembers, veterans and military families, through two program pathways:
- HOPE’s Critical Needs Program, which assists financially vulnerable veterans, families and caregivers whose lives were impacted by the 9/11 attacks, while concurrently providing pathways to self-sufficiency.
- HOPE’s Military Veteran Peer (MVP) Support Program: HOPE’s Military Relations Program Managers are trained in Mental Health First Aid and Peer Support. These combat wounded veterans provide peer support to veterans; establish long-term relationship with veterans and their families; create a place of acceptance and community for veterans and their families whether virtual or in-person.

Owens & Minor’s history of proudly supporting U.S. servicemembers, veterans and military families dates back to the company’s founding. Today, The Owens & Minor Foundation champions veteran and military communities through teammate volunteerism, financial contributions and corporate and teammate product donations to charitable causes.
