Introduction

Owens & Minor and Apria teammates have joined together to integrate fully into one Human Resources (HR) Team. These efforts have identified opportunities to drive efficiencies in our operations while striving to ensure a more productive and inclusive experience for all our teammates across the company. The outcome, debuting this fall, will provide an integrated and seamless HR Center of Excellence for our teammates that aligns with similar activities across all support functions, creating a more efficient and holistic company.

We have created this page as a centralized location accessible to all teammates. It contains information including important dates, previous communications, and resource materials.

Timeline

  • Monday, October 2 – All teammates will begin using a single HR Service Center email address.
  • Monday, October 23 – HR Service Center live agents will now be available to all U.S. teammates.
  • Thursday, October 26 – U.S. teammates can begin to enroll for the 2024 health benefits program offered by Owens & Minor. All teammates will use HR Workday to enroll.
  • Thursday, October 26 – All Apria teammates will have access to HR Workday going forward.
  • Thursday, November 9 – Open enrollment ends
  • Monday, December 25 – Apria teammates will now have full access to HR Workday.
  • Monday, January 1, 2024 – All teammates will complete all assigned and self-registered eLearning in OMU.
  • Friday, January 5, 2024 – All teammates will be paid on the same day and week.

Overview and Resources

2024 Benefits Combined for All U.S. Teammates

Starting Thursday, October 26, all start enrolling in the same health benefits program using HR Workday. We evaluated both Apria and O&M’s current partners and are looking forward to rolling out some exciting changes that ensure our teammates are provided with competitive options. Apria teammates are in the process of being added to HR Workday — unifying our company into one primary teammate knowledge system.

HR Service Center Centralized

Starting Monday, October 2, all teammates will begin using a single HR Service Center email address. Starting Monday, October 23, HR Service Center live agents, currently available to Apria teammates, will now assist all U.S. teammates.

Pay Schedule Change

Starting Friday, January 5, 2024, all teammates will be paid on the same day and week. This will apply to all U.S. teammates except Apria teammates who reside in New York.

Online Learning Systems Merged

Apria’s Learning Central content will migrate to Owens & Minor University (OMU). Apria and O&M use the same learning management software called Cornerstone OnDemand, so the interface and functionality will remain the same for teammates. Beginning January 1, 2024, Apria teammates will complete all assigned and self-registered eLearning in OMU.
