Every day, members of the healthcare community, representing various clinical care settings, work to navigate unforeseen challenges. According to the most recent analysis through the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network, 1 in 31 hospitalized patients will contract a Healthcare-Associated Infection (HAI), which threatens patients’ safety, causes increased length of stay, and significantly increases the cost-of-care delivery. Using a targeted approach to prevention, it is possible to reduce the incidence of these preventable infections, but it does require an ongoing and comprehensive approach.  This dedicated website aims to provide healthcare providers with the most current evidence-based resources necessary to prevent these infections, protect patients and healthcare providers, and reduce mortality and morbidity.
